As part of our own lifestyle we keep an organic smallholding. In this we produce both organic and free range meat and poultry, as well as a wide range of fruit and vegetables. We incorporate, as far as the climate and seasons allow, this produce into our picnic lunches.

 

In West Cork there are many local producers of food using traditional and organic methods. Most famous are the farmhouse cheeses, produced with a taste and quality assurance found no where else.
As the largest whitefish port in Ireland, Castletownbere offers access to a range of fish straight from the sea.
